Cheapest Veterinary Clinic in Singapore?
In most countries in the world, including Singapore, veterinary services for pets are often left to the private sector. As such veterinary fees are often unregulated and left to the open market. It is not uncommon to hear of complaints in social media and the press on high veterinary fees charged by veterinarians.
While it is true that veterinary fees are high, this does not mean that the fees charged are unfair or scrupulous. Disgruntled pet owners often compare the veterinary fees to human medical fees.
“I only paid $20 for an X-Ray for myself at the polyclinic, and now the vet wants to charge me $150 to X-Ray my Chihuahua! Crazy ah, these heartless vets out to cheat my money, I go compraint!”
Unfortunately what these pet owners fail to realise is that the fees we pay at polyclinics and human public hospitals are hugely subsidised. Try getting an X-Ray at a private hospital and see how much it costs. In addition, veterinary clinics are often not GPs and offer a full spectrum of services – vets are dentists, surgeons, GPs, diagnosticians all rolled into one.
Does this mean as pet owners we should simply accept any fees charged by vets and can’t do anything about it? Of course not! It is our duty to our pets to be educated consumers.

As recommended by the vet there to undergo surgery to , say expand the pipe leading to the penis and by pass the area to make ot large. Can i know roughly will this surgery cost?
